Rushing Omega Pi
In Order to become a sister of the Omega Pi Sorority, you must first participate in what we call "Rush Week". This is about two weeks of scheduled events. It is held at the beginning of each semester of the school year. The events of Rush week January 2008 are coming. Please check back soon.

Why Rush a sorority?
Participation in these events basically gives you a chance to come out and meet some of the sisters. It is an opportunity to find out what Omega Pi is all about and figure out if becoming a sister is right for you.

After Rushing ... Comes Pledging!
Pledging is basically a 6-8 week process in which time new girls learn about traditions and our history and most importantly get to know their potential sisters. Most sisters look back on their time as pledges as a very special time in their lives. And participate each term in helping new girls have the same full experiences that they were able to enjoy when it was their time to pledge.

As a sorority, we utilize two semesters, fall and winter, as our pledging periods. These times are preceeded by a Rush Week that enables us to get our organization known to female students who may be interested in what we stand for and what we do as an organization.
