Pretty Ladies

Respect, Leadership, Individuality... does that sound like something you live by? Those are the 3 things that Omega Pi Sorority stands for, so why not come check it out?

"Rush" is our form of recruitment. It's a time for you to get to know the sisters as well as our organization, Omega Pi, and a time for us to get to know you. We encourage you try to attend as many rush events as you can, to really maximize your chances of being asked to pledge or join !

How to 'rush' Omega Pi

In order to become a sister of the Omega Pi Sorority, you must first participate in what we call "Rush Week". This takes place over one or two weeks and is filled with various events designed to help introduce you to our Active Sisters. It is held at the beginning of each semester of the school year and includes both events with the Sisters of Omega Pi and events in conjunction with other Greek Letter Organizations (GLOs) on campus. The Rush periods typically take place the week following frosh week in september and the first week back in January. The events of the next Rush week will be posted a few weeks prior to the next rush period. Please check back soon.

Why Rush our sorority?

Participation in these events basically gives you a chance to come out and meet some of the sisters. It is an opportunity to find out what Omega Pi is all about and figure out if becoming a sister is right for you. For many sisters the sorority is their family away from home and we encourage you to come out and witness for yourself the bond our sisters share. Many of the friendships our sisters gain by joining truly last a lifetime.

After Rushing ... Comes Pledging!

Pledging is a 6-8 week process in which new girls learn about our traditions and our history and most importantly get to know their potential sisters. Most sisters look back on their time as pledges as a very special time in their lives. And participate each term in helping new girls have the same full experiences that they were able to enjoy when it was their time to pledge.
